Landfill Decommission

This project was completed in August 2024, we received a grant through Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. We had to cover 26.67% of the project, which was reserves. We still will be operating the Transfer Station at this site.

Construction on Allgrove Rd

Dust control construction complete on the Allgrove Rd

CP Railway Removal

We had Tru Green Metal remove the old Canadian Pacific Railway off of our property in Parcel A Plan 101768621. We plan to pull the gravel out from the railway bed in 2024. The land location of this project is SW 21-40-13-W2.

Bridge Rehabilitation

Funded by reserves, the Bridge Rehabilitation was completed in February 2023. It is scheduled to be inspected again this year.

Speed Signs

We received an SGI grant to install speed signs at Barrier and Lakeview Resorts.

Algrove Road

With our Canada Community Building Funds we upgraded one kilometer of the Algrove Road (runs next to our shop) with MG30.

Joint Project

We did a joint project with the Ministry of Highways and the RM of Ponass Lake No. 367 on the St. Front Access. The MG30 product was applied.

Barrier Lake Playground

We funded the purchase of the Barrier Lake Playground. The Playground Committee worked very hard in completing this playground and their fundraising was incredibly successful. They have now paid the RM back in full.

New Grader

We purchased a new grader to keep our roads safe. All of the funding was in reserves.

Clay Cap on Chagoness Grid

This project was completed in August of 2020 through New Deal Funding.
