DUST CONTROL
This is to advise you the ratepayer that the municipality will no longer apply dust control or stock calcium chloride for resale. There are currently two commercial applicators providing dust control services in neighboring municipalities. Ratepayers may arrange for private application of dust control products on municipal roads at their own expense. Snow from private driveways shall not be placed on the municipal roadway or shoulders. Do not plow snow from driveways onto or across municipal roads. Piles of snow left on or near the roads can freeze into a solid mass creating a hazardous situation for vehicles and snowplows. Piles of snow increase the chance of drifting on the roadway.
