FOR THE RM OF BARRIER VALLEY NO. 397

DUE TO NO FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT

For the duration of the fire ban:

1)      No person shall light, or start or allow or cause to be lighted, ignited or started a fire of any kind whatsoever in the open air, this includes without limitation controlled burns, burning barrel fires, recreational fires or smudge fires.

2)      CSA – approved self-contained heating devices or pressurized stoves, gas barbeques, propane fire pits or charcoal briquettes used in an approved firebox will only be permitted for cooking and heating purposes.

3)      The lighting or discharge of fireworks is strictly prohibited.
