• Position Summary

  The Seasonal Maintenance Employee performs a variety of outdoor and municipal maintenance duties. The successful applicant will work under the Administrator at the direction of Council.

  Key Responsibilities

  ·         General maintenance throughout the municipality

  ·         Assisting with road, ditch, and culvert maintenance

  ·         Operating municipal equipment such as tractors, mowers, rock picker and light machinery

  ·         Installing and maintaining municipal signage

  ·         Performing shop and yard tasks, including cleaning, organizing and basic repairs

  ·         Supporting other municipal projects and duties as assigned by Council

  Required Qualification

  ·         Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  ·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  ·         Strong communication skills and commitment to safe work practices

  Preferred Qualifications

  ·         Experience operating municipal or heavy equipment

  ·         Familiarity with rural municipal operations

  ·         Power mobile equipment ticket
