Effective August 1st the Lagoon Expansion Project will be in full operation. This expansion project was a requirement by the Water Security Agency. For the effluent from all the resorts in the municipality. The haulers that will be dumping effluent will be charged at a rate of $50/load tandem truck and $25/load single axel truck. These funds will be put into a separate account for the upkeep of the lagoon.
