PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Barrier Valley No. 397
Intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and development Act, 2007 to amend
Bylaw 4-20, known as the Zoning Bylaw
INTENT
The proposed bylaw amendment will rezone from A - Agricultural District to LD Lakeshore Development the land within NW ¼ Section 12, Township 41, Range 13, W2M as shown as MR1 on the Plan of Proposed Subdivision, prepared by Meridian Surveys, dated July 31, 2023 shown on sketch below.

REASON
The reason for the amendment is to rezone the subject property to facilitate the subdivisions outstanding requirement of Municipal Reserve for the Lakeview Resort development located at NW and NE 12 41 13 W2M.
PUBLIC INSPECTION
Any person may inspect the proposed bylaw at the RM of Barrier Valley No. 397 office, located at 100 Main Street, Archerwill SK, during normal office hours 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the proposed bylaw are available at cost.
PUBLIC HEARING
Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 9:00 am within the R.M. Office Council Chambers, located at 100 Main Street, Archerwill, SK. Any person or group desiring to comment on the proposed bylaws are encouraged to submit written comments prior to the hearing. Written submissions may be sent by email to rm397@sasktel.net, by Canada Post a minimum of 4 business days in advance of hearing, or by dropping off at the RM office. For anyone wanting to attend and submit verbal comments, please contact the RM Office by December 9, 2024 to make arrangements. Council will consider all comments received.
